SDIP-12-240 Gigabit PoE adapter reducing voltage to 24V

SDIP-12-240 is a gigabit PoE adapter with a voltage reduction converter. The device allows changing the power supply from PoE 802.3af or PoE PASSIVE (35...56V) to PoE PASSIVE 24V.

The primary use of the adapter is to power WiFi AP access devices requiring a PoE voltage of 24V. Gigabit throughput allows full wireless transmission speeds.

The total power budget of the SDIP-12-240 is 12W. For higher demand, a higher power SDIP-20-AD0 (20W) adapter is also available to fulfill the same function.

The device has a protection level of IP20, a suitable enclosure (minimum IP44) is required to ensure protection from the elements and condensation.

The unit has a very small size which allows it to be easily integrated into small enclosures.

The adapter has a polycarbonate base to protect the electronics from mechanical damage.

Installation notes

• the total power of the converter is 12W, which is used to supply 24V PoE passive power.
• SDIP-12-240 is a new version of the ASDC-12-240-HS adapter and can be used interchangeably in its place.
